I was surprised and delighted to find this sweet email in my inbox this weekend and had to share it!

Hi Jenn:

It's been quite some time. I just thought of you and Mike and wanted to drop a hello. Stan and I were just feeling nostalgic and watched our wedding video. And I was gushing like a little baby.

There were so many things I didn't remember until the wedding video reminded me of it. I am so glad that I went ahead and decided on having a videographer for my wedding. At first I thought a video was just duplicative of photos, boy was I wrong- and glad I was wrong! I remember we had this exact conversation when I was planning my wedding. We had our first meeting and you told me that couples would tell you after the fact that they would have regretted not going with a video. I am now one of those couples as well!

The first thing that pulled at my heartstrings was seeing my grandfather in the video. He's older and significantly less mobile. And to see him in motion when he was well really got to me and brings back memories, happy ones. That's when it first made me realize how important it was to have my wedding day on video.

It's funny, my sister is now engaged, and going through the same process and she too is going through the budget and thinking of what to cut out... I've had the same conversation with her- that videos capture things that a still picture camera can't.

Was just feeling nostalgic and thought of you and how I really appreciated the excellent job you did on our wedding video.

It's always so great to hear back such wonderful comments from our couples, but especially when it's so soon after their wedding! Here is a sweet note we received from Lisa-Marie whose wedding was last Saturday at the Highlands Country Club.

Jenn,

Although this is not my “official” thank you I wanted to let you know how happy Patrick and I were at the wedding. When I told Patrick before the wedding I wanted the videographer he was really not loving the idea of someone putting a camera in his face. He told me afterwards he was so impressed with how you guys filmed. We are so excited to see the end result.

We plan to do out hand written thank you notes and vendor reviews within the next few weeks but I was so happy with everything I had to tell you sooner.

We try so hard not to be that stereotypical videographer everyone fears, so it makes us feel good when we hear that we were able to make a skeptical groom feel comfortable with us filming him.

Trash the Dress and Post Wedding sessions do more than just give you an opportunity to wear your dress again (and the guys can come too!). It also gives you some great shots and footage for your wedding film that will be unique to you based on where you go and what you do. It is beautiful to see and empowering to do (like supermodel for a day). No one ever expects to have as much fun as we do on these types of shoots. With nothing to loose and everything to gain, including images like the one below (and a video soon to come), why doesn't everyone jump at the chance to go out and do it?!?!

Hi Jenn,

We got the DVDs!!!! Wow. Amy and I both agreed we had this nervous/excited/scared feeling when just looking at the package, kinda like an amazing present you don't want to open.

We watched some of the video last night and absolutely love it!!! Thank you so so much for all of your hard work, correspondence and everything. We watched part of the video last night and were blown away by it. The opening specifically is just so impressive and we love what you did. I'm so glad you thought of it and encouraged us to do it. We're saving a full viewing until we have some more time, probably Friday night.

Hi Jenn!

When we began planning our wedding, we did not factor a videographer in our budget. This was due to the fact that Hunter was opposed. He said he didn't want a camera in his face all night and he felt if we did have a videographer, then it would feel like we would be putting on a show. I was upset, but respected his wishes and concerns.

After many months of wishing we had booked a videographer and after losing one of our best friends in a car accident, I brought it up to him again. I knew I wanted to have our wedding day captured...the video is not only about the bride and groom, but also shows our family and closest friends. I wanted shots of my 80 year old grandfather getting down to hip hop (something I never knew he enjoyed). And I wanted our wedding day to be filmed so I could show my children and grandchildren. You never know what tomorrow could bring. That's why I believe that you guys were such an important part of the wedding. Personally, I would have skipped the flowers (if I could) or would not have gone all out on a rather large and expensive limo. Because after the wedding is over, none of those things really matter. Paying for your service was well worth it!!!! Even Hunter thanks me for convincing him! (well maybe you helped convince him too :)

I can honestly say that I have enjoyed every single aspect of our wedding video. However, the credits and awards section was a nice touch to our video. I had never seen or heard of this before and it made the whole video even more personal. You truly did an amazing job. Everyone enjoyed watching the movie. My dad had a smile on his face the whole time!! The coverbox and DVD face are absolutely wonderful and were an important touch to our wedding video. Thanks for putting a smile on our faces when we saw our coverbox and DVD.

I am sooo happy we went with you! You did a fantastic job! You are such a sweetheart and made us feel at ease. Our video is absolutely perfect! We will continue to recommend you to everyone!!!!!

Hi Jenn!

We just watched the video and we loved it. It was very well edited and put together - it definitely shows that a lot of time and care when into making it. I love the custom artwork. It really personalizes it and makes it special, rather than some generic thing that I could get anywhere.

You guys were a joy to work with. You made the planning process easy, were very unobtrusive on the day of our wedding, and made us a beautiful video. I honestly love the whole video. It's so well done. I would definitely recommend you to anyone I knew who was getting married.

Hi Jenn and Mike,

I don't know if you remember me but my husband Ross and I used you guys as videographers at our wedding a couple years ago. Anyway, I am off from work this week and decided to reminisce and watch our wedding video.

Although we got married almost two years ago (I can't believe it!), I just wanted to say once again how AMAZING our wedding video is!! You are so creative and are excellent at your craft. Everyone in our family LOVES watching the video. We even watched it over Thanksgiving!

It makes me laugh, cry and smile every time. Ross and I agree that you were so professional and fun to work with. You made me feel relaxed, special and beautiful on my wedding day. We couldn't be happier with the video! We had to watch it right away and I think you really captured who we are and what was important to us on our wedding day. We laughed, we cried... it was much better than Cats! Absolutely awesome. Hi Jenn,

Love, Love, Love it!!!! We received our video last night and we absolutely loved it. It was just like being at the wedding again.

My husband did not think that we needed a video based on feedback from friends, but I knew I wanted on because after everything is done, the video and pictures are all you have to remember your wedding. Even he was impressed with the video and was glad that we had it done. I can't wait to show it to our families.

I loved the credits and awards and I think you found the perfect place for the song "When the Stars Go Blue".

We love our video. It was the best money we spent. Also, since Scott and I both lost our grandmothers since, it has become even more special to us. We watch our video a few times a year. For the first year, my mom watched it a few times a month. She is totally in love with the video and everyone who comes to the house has to watch it.

We really love how you put so much detail into the video and we always get a kick out of watching the hem of my dress fall on beat with Cher's "It's in his Kiss".

I would have rather cut something else if I had to in order to keep the video. We rarely look at our wedding album, although it is very important to us, but we get way more out of our video and that's what I tell everyone who is getting married.

We totally loved everything. The video is something that we will watch for years to come. You guys were great to work with and we felt like you were just some more friends at our wedding, not vendors. You are both very talented and it was a pleasure.
